No More Late Fees with PS/Invoice
No one wants to pay late fees. PS/Invoice makes sure that you won’t have to, at least when it comes to your FedEx invoices. Beginning in January 2021, FedEx will charge a 6% late payment fee to U.S. FedEx Express and FedEx Ground customers who don’t pay their invoice within their agreed upon payment terms – typically net 15 days. This quick turnaround time coupled with receiving multiple invoices each week makes it difficult to keep current and very costly if you fall behind.
PS/Invoice keeps you on track and ensures timely payment of FedEx invoices so that nothing falls through the cracks triggering a late fee. Our system pulls in FedEx invoices real-time and sends notifications directly to you and your designated team. Plus, every transaction is pre-screened for valid billing information, with non-valid entries being flagged for your team’s review – so you don’t waste time reviewing known good data.

To make sure you’re up to date on due invoices, the Spend Management Dashboard shows you what’s at risk of missing payment terms with FedEx including the total value of the invoices not yet reviewed, exported, or remitted:
If your firm does receive a late fee, it will arrive in PS/Invoice on a late-fee-only invoice, be marked as requiring review, and need to be allocated appropriately (likely to an internal, office level, project code). Questions about late fees specifically are best directed to your FedEx Account Representative, but we’re hoping you’ll avoid them in the first place by using PS/Invoice.
